Muse

Muse

I wrote about you yesterday,
Confronted my mind with the fact,
That you’d always be the one,
But you lingered longer than I expected,
And you came to me at night in my thoughts,
And I couldn’t help but think,
Of how you could have been my muse,
And all this could have been for you.
