Dance With Me
Short Poems
Dance With Me
Would you dance with me?
Just to feel,
How we move together,
In this cosmic rhythm;
To see the look in my eyes,
As I gaze into yours;
My attempt at seeking beauty;
Telling tales of our passionate transgressions,
And have my hands by your hips,
As you lead me to supposed bliss;
Would you dance with me?
Even when there was no music,
But only a tune that only you and I could hear,
And the optimism of our youth.
