A Beautiful End

A Beautiful End

The end was here,
It was in the air,
We felt it coming from a mile away,
And in a way,
We expected it, we needed it;
And we knew we had to go through it;
But it didn’t take away,
The beauty of all that it represented,
All that happened before now;
This was beauty in motion;
And now we let it gain a life of its own,
Absent of us,
But always tied to us.
